Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship Information
Since its inaugural tournament in 1993, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships has consistently showcased the world’s best players in competition and also in spectacular locations around Dubai.
I 2005, two ATP World Tour Champions – Andre Agassi and Roger Federer – scaled the Burj Al Arab for a friendly practice session atop the helipad at the iconic hotel. The tournament has won the ATP World Tour 500 award 10 times in 11 år (2003-06, 2008-13).
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships offers spectators a number of different ticket-buying options, all of which are subject to availability.
Grandstand tickets are available from January each year. All Grandstand seats are free seating except for dedicated Media seating and Sponsor’s areas.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Centre (formerly The Aviation Club) has been home to The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships since its inauguration in 1993.
Now in its 22nd year, the tournament owners and organizers Dubai Duty Free are rightly proud of one of the most popular and competitive events on the world circuit.
Staged at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Garhoud, the tournament will run from the 17th February to March 1st with the non-stop action commencing with the $2 million WTA Premier Event, followed on 24th February by the 22nd staging of the $2 million ATP 500 turnering.
Spectators are welcome to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, that include the hugely popular Irish Village (voted best pub by What’s On! magazine) and Century Village that offers a vast variety of dining options
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium
Officially inaugurated in February 1996, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium has been voted “Best Venue” by players on the ATP World Tour. The stadium has become a magnet for people seeking entertainment in Dubai.
Located in the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Centre, the stadium is completely self-contained.
The stadium comprises a 5,000 seat centre court, VIP area and Royal enclosure, press office, press interview rooms, WTA and ATP World Tour offices, TV commentary boxes and changing rooms.
When not being used for the Dubai Tennis Championships the stadium is also a leading concert venue, having played to acts such as Sting, Gerri Haliwell, Bryan Adams, Enrique Iglesias, Gloria Gaynor, Coolio, Shaggy, Sash, Maxi Priest, Big Mountain and Bally Sagoo.
