It invested a million dollars into the United States Drone Racing Formula. Furthermore, several leagues and competitions have also been created around the world.
It’s fair to say that the sport is gaining popularity with each passing day.
Events and Competitions
There have been several Drone Racing competitions around the world since the inception of this sport back in 2014 in Australia.
Some of the most popular championships this game has seen so far are the Drone Racing League, den Dubai World Drone Prix, and the National Drone Racing Championship.
You can contemplate the extent of investment in the growing sport by that fact that in Dubai World Drone Prix, 32 teams from around the world were invited by the UAE to compete, all expenses paid! Å andra sidan, the National Drone Racing Championships were aired live.
The most famous drone operators in the world include the FlyingBear, the Australian rekreK, and Nytfury.
An open event took place this year in July by the name of Australian Drone Nationals 2017. It was conducted by the Australian FPV Racing Associations Inc.
The competition had two separate sets of pilots: the skilled racing and the qualified freestyle pilots. There were a total of 64 FPV pilots competing for the cap.
The best part about the Drone Racing sport is that it is bound to grow with time. This can be said with surety as there are many investors eager to invest in it.
Since drones have become such popular, a lot of manufacturers are out in the market with a variety of different drones.
Emellertid, some of the best ones used by professional drone racers and hobbyists including the DJI Phantom 4, DJI Phantom 3 Pro, Yuneec Breeze, and the DJI Inspire 1.
